Store Manager

Position Summary:
The Store Manager positively represents the culture of the company and is responsible for managing all aspects of a stores operation, abiding by company policy. Some of the tasks include opening/closing, customer service, employee training and development, recruiting, interviewing and promotions, and achieving financial goals. He/she must communicate openly and effectively with staff, supervisor, and loss prevention and key home office departments. Reports directly to the district manager. - Previous retail management experience required.

Regional Loss Prevention Manager
LOCATIONS:
Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaBoston, Massachusetts
Position Summary:
Reduces inventory shortage, cash loss, and company liability within a defined area of stores. Assists store management in all aspects of loss prevention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise field management on loss prevention and shortage control opportunities.
- Provide guidance to field management on identifying and resolving specific shortage issues.
- Maintain effective and frequent communications with field management and key home office partners.
- Develop and conduct meetings and workshops to train Loss Prevention skills to all levels of the field organization.
- Monitor store compliance of loss prevention programs and shortage through store audits, visits, and through review of available data and exception reports.
- Analyze the performance of stores in Loss Prevention activities. Identify areas of improvement and recommend plans of action.
- Assist in developing and executing Loss Prevention strategies and programs.
- Serve as an accessible resource to consult with all levels of store personnel.
- Conduct internal and external investigations. Recommend and execute appropriate action required for resolution.
- Liaison with outside law enforcement agencies, landlord security services, prosecuting attorneys, and court systems to facilitate Loss Prevention.
Position's Training and Educational Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Management, or Liberal Arts preferred
- Loss Prevention Interview training required (Wicklander/Zulawski or Reid preferred)
- SCAN/LSI graduation preferred.
Job Knowledge, Experience, and Skills required:
- Minimum 5 years in progressive positions in retail Loss Prevention
- Minimum of 3 years of multi-site responsibility, with some multi-state responsibility
- Strong communication skills; written and oral.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate.
- Retail math and fundamental analytical skills.
- Public speaking experience.
- Knowledge of basic employment law and basic criminal law.
- Interview skills and training.
- Ability to install security equipment including covert camera systems within the store environment.
- Ability to work long hours combined with extensive travel as needed. Generally must have 24 hour availability to travel.

Receiving Area Manager
LOCATIONS:
Home Office - Solon, Ohio
Job Scope:
Receiving Area Manager must be able to perform the following essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Manage team of material handlers and develop associate leaders.
- Manage various projects related to the integrated receiving process from conception through development of strategic work teams and implementation.
- Partner with merchants and vendors to identify and orient new vendors to our integrated receiving function.
- Track vendor compliance with sampling procedures. Monitor inbound POs for compliance with integrated receiving requirements. Receive and process ASNs.
- Manage costs and resources to meet/exceed established daily/weekly/monthly/annual targets for production, quality, safety and timeliness.
- ·rovide requisite training and development for all associates under direct and indirect supervision.
- Participate in selection process, hiring and orienting new associates.
- Enforce, in a fair and equitable manner, all company policies and procedures.
- Work a full-time schedule and extended hours as needed, which may include opening the building before the start of the shift and securing the building at the end of the business day.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma is required. College degree in related field is highly desirable.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Demonstrated understanding of distribution, warehousing and inventory control processes as evidenced by a previous management role in distribution center.
- Direct significant experience in an automated integrated receiving operation to include high degree of understanding of EDI and ASN capabilities.
- Experienced in PANDA technology within a high volume distribution center.
- Exceptional communication and supervisory skills across all modalities including in-person oral, written, telephone and electronic. Adapts style of communicating and supervising to audience and situation.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control and audit procedures as they pertain to inbound receipts.
- Effective conflict management skills across diverse cultures and various ability levels.
- Good working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and timekeeping software.
- Proven commitment to practicing and fostering a safety culture in the workplace.
